Spicy Sauerkraut Soup

300 g potatoes
1 carott
1 onion
1 red chilli peppers
200 g of beans (canned)
150 g smoked sausage (Braunschweiger)
300 g sauerkraut (short cuted)
300 g tomato cubes (canned)
1 l beef soup
salt, pepper, oil
1 bunch of parsley (chopped)

 

 

Peel potatoes and carrot in small cubes. Peel and chop onion.
Core chili pepper and chop finely. Drain beans and cut sausage in slices. Heat oil and fry onion, potatoes, chili and carrots for 5 minutes.
Add sauerkraut and tomato cubes, stir and add the soup. Simmer covered for about 20 minutes, then add beans and sausage and boil for another 5 minutes. Season to taste with salt and
pepper. Serve soup sprinkled with parsley.
