BOHNENGULASCH  GRÜN WEISS

Green and white Bean Goulash

800 g beef goulash (shank)
1 onion
3 cloves of garlic
500 ml gravy
2 bay leaves
peppercorns
400 g potatoes
400 g green beans
cayenne pepper
1 large tin of white beans
2 chilli peppers
2 spring onions

 

 

Peel and dice the beef, garlic, potatoes and onion. Cut the green beans in half if necessary. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the meat. Add the onion and garlic and fry briefly. Pour in the gravy and bring to the boil. Add the spices. Cook the meat for approx. 40 minutes, then add the potatoes. When both are al dente, add the green beans the white beans and cook for approx. 10 minutes. Serve garnished with chilli strips and spring onion rings.
